THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN A WINDSHIELD IS NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED
This picture is from a recent job that we
were asked to fix due to poor workmanship
from a auto glass shop that had gone out of
business. This is what happens if the
installer does not prime the opening before installing the windshield or any other glass
that is installed with adhesive.
The customer's windshield was leaking,
which caused the frame around the
windshield to rust. The frame had to
be fixed by a body shop before we could
install a new windshield.
